Steadtler presents Italics Handwriting Workshop by Dr. JVD Prasad

This workshop provides a simple, structured and practical approach to improving handwriting for both children and adults. Participants will learn the Basic curves and lines that form the foundation of handwritingand how mastering this simple movement can help in forming letters such as with better control and consistency. The workshop will also introduce vowel theory, letter formation, writing techniques, and methods to improve handwriting speed without compromising legibility. Participants will progressively practise words, sentences and paragraphs to apply these techniques in real writing situations.

A unique part of the workshop is learning how NLP-based techniques can support learning, memorisation, practice and implementation of handwriting skills. Participants will also be introduced to the **SHE Scale (Scale of Handwriting Evaluation), which helps assess handwriting systematically, identify specific areas of difficulty, and understand where a child or adult may be going wrong. By the end of the workshop, participants will have a practical understanding of how handwriting is formed, how to practise it effectively, how to improve speed and consistency, and how to assess and monitor handwriting development using the SHE Scale.
