Beginners Skateboarding Workshop
Kickstart your Sunday morning with Urban Gliding Hyderabad (UGH) and Communitie Hyd!
This exclusive 2-hour workshop is designed specifically for absolute beginners. If you have never stepped on a skateboard before, or if skateparks usually intimidate you, this is your safe zone. Before the city wakes up, we are taking over Wallride Park to teach you the fundamentals of skateboarding from step zero.
No gear? No experience? No problem. We provide the boards, the safety gear, and the community.
What You Will Learn
The Foundation: Stance, balance, and center of gravity.
The Push: How to safely generate momentum without wobbling.
The Glide: Basic board control and steering mechanics.
Event Agenda
7:00 AM: Assembly, gear distribution, and warm-up.
7:15 AM: Balance mechanics and stance drills.
8:00 AM: Push-to-glide transitions and steering.
8:45 AM: Session wrap-up, group photo.
What to Bring
Comfortable, breathable athletic wear.
Flat-soled shoes (sneakers or skate shoes are perfect; avoid running shoes with thick, squishy heels).
A water bottle to stay hydrated.
Terms & Guidelines
Arrive Early: Please reach the venue by 6:50 AM so we can distribute gear and start exactly at 7:00 AM.
Safety First: Helmets and safety pads will be provided and are mandatory for all participants during the session.

• For any reason if the event is cancelled from our end, the amount on the poster will be refunded and not the transaction fee.
• For any reason, if you are unable to make it to the event after registration, the amount will not be refunded or carried forward.
• Spot registrations are subject to availability. Entry is not guaranteed and spot entries will not be eligible for refunds, carry forwards, or compensations. We recommend registering in advance.

Entry is subject to the discretion of the host and venue management. If your behavior is deemed inappropriate or unsafe, you may be denied entry or asked to leave.
No Refund Policy
In cases of denied entry or removal due to misconduct, intoxication, or violation of guidelines, the entry fee will not be refunded.
