About

Have a lot of opinions about the screen adaptations of your favorite books? Come join the conversation.

You read the book. You watched the adaptation. Now let’s talk about what they got right… and what they absolutely got wrong.

Join us for Readers’ Ramblings, our casual book club meet where we pick a topic, bring our opinions and let the conversation wander wherever it wants to go.

This time, we’re diving into Books to Screen Adaptations — the books we loved, the adaptations we questioned and everything in between.

📖 The Book vs The Screen

Which version did you prefer? Did the movie or series capture the magic of the book, or did it leave you wondering what happened to the story you loved?

🎬 What Made the Cut?

Talk about the characters, storylines, scenes and details that made it from page to screen — and the ones that mysteriously disappeared.

👀 Better Than the Book?

Can a screen adaptation actually improve on the original? Come armed with your hottest takes and see if everyone agrees.

💬 Discuss & Debate

Bring your favorite adaptations, biggest disappointments, unexpected surprises and those “the book was SO much better” opinions.

🤝 Discover New Reads & Watches

Find out which books you should read before watching, which adaptations deserve a spot on your watchlist and which ones are better left unread… or unwatched.

THE PROMPT: BOOKS TO SCREEN ADAPTATIONS

Come with a book-to-screen adaptation you loved, hated or have strong feelings about.

Read it. Watch it. Compare it. Ramble about it. ✨
