What to Expect from the Workshop

In this 90-minute workshop, we will jump into the theory and practice of ink swatching. We will learn about what makes a good swatch, explore different materials and techniques, before going hands on and swatching half-a-dozen inks.

Once our swatches are done and drying, we will make an 8-page zine into which we can paste our swatches, making a memorable keepsake we can take away from the workshop.

While we will be providing inks and swatching materials, you are welcome to bring your own inks and swatching notebooks if you wish.

You get:

• 6 ink swatch cards of Iroful paper
• 6 different fountain pen inks for swatching
• Swatching implements
• Materials for making your zine

You take away:

An 8-page zine that will hold all your swatches and serve as a keepsake from the workshop.
