CARPE DIEM An evening inspired by the spirit of Dead Poets Society. As dusk falls, we gather to recite poetry, share words, and give voice to the thoughts we usually keep hidden. An intimate evening of poems, stories, candlelight, and conversation — where we leave the ordinary behind and, for a while, simply seize the day. Come with a poem. Leave with a memory.
There are words we write but never read aloud. Thoughts we bury beneath the noise of ordinary days. Poems that wait patiently for someone brave enough to give them a voice.
This evening, we gather to do just that.
Carpe Diem is an intimate poetry evening inspired by the spirit of Dead Poets Society — a gathering beyond classrooms, conventions, and the ordinary.
As the evening falls, we shall gather together to recite poetry, share stories, discover forgotten verses, and speak the words that have long remained unsaid.
There will be no podium, no competition, and no judgement.
Only poetry.
Bring a poem that means something to you. Bring a piece you have written yourself. Bring a favourite passage from a poet you love. Or simply bring yourself and listen.
For one evening, let us step away from the ordinary and remember:
The poetry club invites you to an evening of words, candlelight, and rebellion against the mundane.
Gather. Recite. Listen. Feel.
