#AnInchAugust is an art challenge started in 2018 by Meghalika & Neha with a simple idea: Get creative within an inch.
In our busy day-to-day lives, we often lose touch with our creative side. #AnInchAugust was born as a way to reconnect with art, imagination, creativity, community, and yourself. The challenge is open to everyone: artists, hobbyists, photographers, or anyone curious about creating.
The rule is simple: Create something within an inch.
It could be:
- Drawing
- Painting
- Doodle
- Miniature 3D craft or model
- Macro photography or anything else your imagination sparks.
Over the years, what started as a small idea has grown into a vibrant global community, with over 8,500+ public posts on Instagram under the hashtag #AnInchAugust.
