Hackathon Overview
The GenAI Film Making Hackathon is a hands on, filmmaker first initiative designed to bring together storytellers to explore cinematic storytelling using AI.
Participants are challenged to create a Micro Film (min of 90 sec, max of 120 sec) using AI-generated visuals and audio, within real world creative constraints.

THE CHALLENGE
Create a 90ā120 second Micro Film using AI under these conditions:
No real-life characters.
No copyrighted material.
Visuals and audio must be AI-generated.
The film must be created during the hackathon.
The story must be original and created specifically for the challenge.

HOW IT WORKS
STEP 01 ā REGISTER
Register individually for the hackathon.
STEP 02 ā GET THE BRIEF
Receive the challenge brief at the beginning of the event.
STEP 03 ā CREATE
Develop your story and create your Micro Film using AI tools.
STEP 04 ā SUBMIT
Submit your final film before the hackathon deadline.
STEP 05 ā SCREEN & JUDGE
Selected films will be screened and evaluated by the jury.
STEP 06 ā WIN
Two outstanding films will receive the GenAI Filmmaking Hackathon Awards.
GUIDELINES
- Each participant can submit one final edit.
- All editing must be completed during the hackathon.
- Participants must use the footage provided by the organisers.
- Previously edited or published work cannot be submitted.
- The final edit must be submitted before the announced deadline.
- Participants are free to interpret the brief in their own creative style.
- Participants must bring their own laptop and editing software.
- Internet will be provided at the venue.
- Final submission must follow the format specified by the organisers.
- AI tools or external editing assistance may only be used if permitted by the organisers.
- The jury's decision will be final.

ā¢ For any reason if the event is cancelled from our end, the amount on the poster will be refunded and not the transaction fee.
ā¢ For any reason, if you are unable to make it to the event after registration, the amount will not be refunded or carried forward.
ā¢ Spot registrations are subject to availability. Entry is not guaranteed and spot entries will not be eligible for refunds, carry forwards, or compensations. We recommend registering in advance.

Sobriety & Conduct
Please arrive sober and in good spirit. Entry will not be permitted if you are intoxicated, under the influence, or behaving in a disruptive manner.
Host & Venue Discretion
Entry is subject to the discretion of the host and venue management. If your behavior is deemed inappropriate or unsafe, you may be denied entry or asked to leave.
No Refund Policy
In cases of denied entry or removal due to misconduct, intoxication, or violation of guidelines, the entry fee will not be refunded.
