Bhaktha Prahlada brings to life the timeless story of young Prahlada, whose unwavering devotion to Lord Vishnu withstands the brutal opposition of his father, Hiranyakashipu. The drama culminates in the spectacular appearance of Lord Narasimha, who emerges from a pillar to protect his devotee and defeat the demon king.

Presented in the celebrated Surabhi theatre tradition, the production combines mythological storytelling with extraordinary stage effects, dramatic transformations, flying sequences, fire scenes, and immersive spectacle. Surabhi is also renowned for encouraging women performers and for profoundly influencing Telugu cinema, including inspiring the iconic film Mayabazar through its staging of Sasirekha Parinayam.
